From Naples airport, a bus runs directly to the Circumvesuviana train station in Sorrento. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Buses leave hourly, starting at 9:00 am and with the last one at 7:30 pm. The ticket costs €10.00 and can be purchased on board. The company Curreri Viaggi offers a shuttle service to reach Sorrento from Naples airport. There are 8 buses per day, starting from 09.00 am until 07.30 pm.
It is important to note that, especially during summer from June until the end of August, you may find long lines, and it may take hours before you get the first bus from Sorrento to the Amalfi Coast. Reaching the towns on the Amalfi Coast can be a challenge also. If you carry large pieces of luggage, it may be uncomfortable because you will be in a very crowded bus.
