First, you have S-Bahn / MVV (the train station) Munchen shuttle service. It goes every 10 minutes from the Airport to the city center, and the ride is approximately 40 minutes long. Pick up locations are Terminal 1 and 2.
The second option as a shuttle service is Lufthansa Express Bus. It goes from Munich Airport to Munich Central Station every 15 minutes, the duration of the ride is about 45 minutes, a little longer than with an S- Bahn. It has four stops on the Munich Airport: Terminal 2, Terminal 1 / Modul A, Terminal 1 / MAC, Terminal 1 / Modul D.
There are a bunch of options for shuttle service in Munich Airport:
long-distance buses and even an offer to pay the parking ticket on the Airport and ride with public transportation with that exact ticket all day. We really have to admit that is a good idea for travelers. Regarding the Munchen Shuttle Services, there aren't any companies that drive directly to the requested address as hotels, apartments, etc. (Maybe you get lucky if you ask the driver politely.) In that case, you still have to worry have to get to the correct address and then maybe take a taxi again or some other public transportation costing you a lot of time and money.
S-Bahn / MVV (the train station) Munchen shuttle service:
The prices are changeable, it depends on age, adult (13.00€) /child (3.20€) difference, or if you are buying for yourself or the group (24.30€). We do agree that is a great solution to get to the city center fast and cheap but is it really that comfortable and reliable as private transportation? We don't think so.
Lufthansa Express Bus:
The only problem with this shuttle service is that you have to be a Lufthansa traveler and the plane ticket is your shuttle ticket as well. So we are not able to provide you with the correct rate. Maybe it would be better to book something in advance and without any worry about the pick-up location or the price.
