Once you land at Zadar airport you can reach the city by taking a shuttle bus service. The shuttle bus is parked on the right side when exiting the terminal. The official carrier on this route is Liburnija Zadar. Make sure to prepare some cash since you can only purchase the tickets onboard. The price for a one-way ticket is 3,40 EUR, including luggage. Keep in mind that return tickets are not available. From the airport, the shuttle bus first goes to the Zadar Main station.
It takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. From that station, you can take a local bus to the city center. Then, the shuttle continues to the station at the Old town.
NOTE: There are no public lines or transportation from and to Zadar Airport.
Besides the shuttle bus, you can take a taxi from the Airport. The rate of the taxi ride from the Airport to the city center is around 20-25 €. Make sure you agree on the rate before entering and always keep an eye on the taximeter.
