Monte Gordo is a modern resort mainly focused on the summer season. It is located about 60 km from Faro airport and is full of beautiful sandy beaches. No direct train operates to Monte Gordo from Faro airport so you need to combine bus and train. First jump in the Proximo bus, line 14, to reach train Bom João. Transfer duration is 15 minutes and the bus departs 4 times a day.
Train to Monte Gordo, operated by the company Comboios De Portugal leaves every 2 hours and you should be at the train station in Monte Gordo in one hour. To your exact destination consider taking the taxi.
Since there is no direct bus from Faro airport to Monte Gordo, you can reach the destination via Faro. The journey takes 02:02h, including transfers. You need to take Proximo bus, line 16, which is departing hourly with a 20 minute transfer duration.

You can take a local taxi to Monte Gordo in 40 minutes, for an average price of around € 60. Of course, the price is not fixed and depends on the route, the length of the trip, is it day or night and other factors.
