Šibenik is a city in northern Dalmatia, located at the confluence of the river Krka and the Adriatic Sea. It is the capital of Šibenik-Knin County and the oldest native Croatian town on the Adriatic coast. It was first mentioned in 1066 in the charter of King Petar Krešimir IV, which is why it is often called Krešimir's town.
The official status of the city, which it received in the 13th century, is the main reason for the beginning of the construction of its main symbol, the Cathedral of St. Jakov, famous buildings included in the UNESCO list of monumental heritage. The city of Šibenik is often called the City of Children because it has been the host of the famous International Children's Festival for almost 60 years.
A shuttle operates every day of the week in the period from 26.06. - 27.08.2019. It is not available outside of these dates.
Regular intercity bus departs from city centers, so you will need to find another transportation option to get to Trogir or Split station first.
