It is not too far from the airport - only about 4 kilometers, so your journey will not be too long before you get to your accommodation. There is one line that takes you to the city center - Bus F.

It is pretty straightforward, as there is a direct line from the airport to the city. The bus route is ‘F’. After you have collected your luggage, you will find a bus stop right outside the arrival hall of the airport. The F line operates between the airport and the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) at 15-minute intervals from Monday to Saturday.

On Sundays and public holidays, it goes every 30 minutes. The journey itself takes about 20 minutes, and there are about 11 intermediate stops en route.

Shuttle karte

If you are looking for competitive rates, a shuttle is definitely the best method of getting into Innsbruck city center. A single journey ticket costs approximately €2,00 if you purchase it prior to traveling, and about €2,70 if you buy one on board.

Tickets can be bought at ticket machines. There is one near the bus stop. Children up to 6 years of age travel for free. If you are traveling as a mixed age group it is good to know that there are discounts. Discounts apply for the age group between 6 and 20 and people over 62.
