Dubrovnik Airport, located approximately 15 km (9mi) from the city center, is the third-largest airport in Croatia in terms of the number of passengers. You can reach your final Dubrovnik destination by shuttle, local taxi, or airport transfer. Traveling by shuttle is the cheapest option (5 EUR) but very time-consuming. This kind of transportation is also crowded, especially during the summer season, and can get stressful if you are traveling with kids, in a large group and have a lot of luggage. Managing all of it and waiting for its departure is not something we would recommend.
Traveling by a local taxi is pricier (33 EUR) than by shuttle but much more accommodating. We would advise you to be careful before starting your ride and ask your driver about the exact price. You don't want to bet overcharged.
