The Nice airport, officially known as Côte d’Azur Airport, is the main gateway to Nice and the French Riviera. Even though the cost of 1.50 € for one way ticket is very reasonable – it adds a lot of time to your journey. This type of transportation is not such a great idea if you are traveling with a lot of luggage or arriving early in the morning or late at night.
Taking a taxi is more convenient than taking public transportation. Local taxis are pretty expensive and tend to overcharge, so the city has imposed fixed rates. Now you will pay 32 EUR for transportation from to the center of Nice. This is great news, but keep in mind that you may stumble on some hidden costs such as parking fee, night ride fee, or slow driving fee.
