The first train from Saint-Augustin railway station goes at 05:30 h, and the last one at about 21:00 h. Your train journey will last approximately 30 minutes, and the cost of the ticket is around 4,8 €. Before catching the train – you should purchase a train ticket. You can buy it at the transportation tickets office at Terminal 1 (bus station, gate AO) and Terminal 2 (arrivals level, gate A2/3).
Traveling by bus is the most popular type of transportation. Once you land, you should look for bus number 110 that stops near Airport Terminals 1 and 2. According to the timetable, the first one departs from Terminal 1 at 08:45 h and the last one at 21:00 h. Bus departs from Nice airport to Monaco every 60 minutes.
It is important to mention that all of the buses have comfortable seats but no luggage racks. That can cause a bit of a problem if you are traveling with a lot of luggage. You can buy a bus ticket directly from the driver. The ticket costs 6 €, and the trip will last about 40 minutes.
Taxis are the best and most efficient method of reaching Monaco from Nice Airport, and the journey is relatively quick, taking only around 30 minutes. Since taxis in Nice tend to overcharge, the city has imposed fixed rates for taxis to and from the airport! From Nice Airport to Monaco - the fixed rate is 90 €, but be aware of additional (hidden) costs such as night ride fee or motorway toll fees.
