There is no direct train connection to Caorle from Venice Marco Polo airport. To reach the resort, you need to combine train from Venice Mestre to the following towns: San Donà di Piave, San Stino di Livenza and Portogruaro, and then change to a bus. From San Donà di Piave station, walk to the bus station and take the bus line to Caorle; for a distance of 32km, it will take about 30 mins.
From the station San Stino di Livenza (23 km, transfer duration approximately 25 mins); and Portogruaro (29 km, approximately 30 mins) you can directly take the bus for Caorle.
From Venice Marco Polo Airport to Caorle, you can take the ATVO bus. But you need to be prepared for a bit longer trip, approximately 2h 5m, because there are four stops on the way; Mestre, Venice Piazzale Roma, San Dona di Piave, Lido di Jesolo, and Caorle. The ticket cost is 5,00 EUR, and the luggage is charged 2,40 EUR for up to 2 bags.
It can get really crowded and hot on board, especially in high season. You may find no available seat at times or in rush hour, so be prepared to wait if you miss a bus.
Local taxis are always available in front of airport arrivals. What might be important to you is that taxi prices are not fixed and are subject to traffic or any unforeseeable circumstances.
Furthermore, the round trip highway toll is not included in the estimated price, and you need to pay for that to the driver directly. For all transfers over 50km, taxi drivers will add 10% VAT. The estimated price is around 140€.
