The Airport has its own railway station beneath Terminal 1 (Level U2), and the trains usually run every 10 minutes. You can catch one of the following railway links to the city center:

• The Flughafen Express (FEX) and Regional trains RE7 and RB14 are all going to Hauptbahnhof (Central station). They run every 15 minutes during the day. In about 30 minutes you will arrive at the main station. You will pay approximately 3,60 EUR for a one-way ticket.
• If you decide to take S-Bahn, your ticket will be slightly cheaper - approx. 3,30 EUR. Take the S9 if you are going to East Berlin, and S45 if you are headed to West Berlin.

Traveling by rail is convenient if your stop is not too far from your accommodation. Otherwise, you would have to either walk or take a taxi.
