Brussels Zaventem Аэропорт Шаттл

Brussels Zaventem Airport has been Belgium’s largest and busiest airport. It handles millions of passengers each year and is well connected to the city. If you’re going to the city center, you will have many choices of transportation to choose from. In this article, we have compiled all the information you need to know about Brussels airport shuttles.

You will be able to choose from two different lines:

  • De Lijn – takes you to the city center/ main train station
  • STIB Airport Line – takes you to European Quarter

Let’s look closer into each of these options.

Маршруты и расписание шаттлов

De Lijn Shuttle

Want to go to the city center? Then take bus 272. If you wish to reach the main railway station, you need to take bus line 471. The station is located at level 0 of the airport (one floor down from the Arrivals Hall). Don’t worry, you will easily access it by elevators and escalators. Departures are roughly every 30 minutes, so be prepared for a little bit of waiting time, too. Your total trip time will be about 40 – 70 minutes, and it will most likely include some walking and/or changing vehicles, depending on your final destination.

Expect to pay about 2€ for a single ride (cheapest option). The cost of the fare also depends on where you bought them. M-tickets are the cheapest, and you can buy them online or via the smartphone app. You can also buy an SMS fare, or get one on board.

NOTE: Have the change ready if getting a ticket from the driver. Also, have in mind that kids under six travel free.

STIB Airport Line

If you want to go to the European district in Brussels, you should take shuttle number 12. It is considered an express line, which operates daily, until 8 pm. During the night, you need to take shuttle 21.

STIB shuttles depart from Platform C of Brussels Airport, at level 0. Then, you can make a connection with the metro station as well. Your ride will take about half an hour, and your ticket will cost about 7€. You can buy the ticket from a vending machine or onboard the bus.

Индивидуальный транспорт это ваш выбор номер один

When weighing in the pros & cons of shuttles, you can put the price, safety, and reliability on one side. The other side will weigh down: Inconvenience (not a door-to-door service), waiting time, reduced service (especially on weekends, nights, holidays), lack of freedom (your travel depends on timetables), limited baggage allowance. Yes, buses are cheap and safe but are not the greatest solution.

To get the best value for your money, choose private transportation. You will get excellent service and peace of mind on the day of travel. What is so great about private transportation? You can order the ride ahead of time, with prices being all-inclusive, transparent, and fixed. Your chauffeur is an English-speaking professional, who will meet you at Brussels Airport, upon your arrival. You will be escorted to the car, and taken straight to your final destination. No waiting, no delays, no regrets. Money well spent, and your precious time saved.
